The primary objective of this project was to consolidate multiple sectors of Aptar into a single, centralized website. As part of the team, my role involved building each layout and page template using PHP within the WordPress framework. Additionally, I was responsible for styling the entire site and implementing various functionalities. The challenge was to create flexible and reusable layouts that could be easily adapted by each sector of Aptar, ensuring their unique representation on the website.

To achieve this goal, we leveraged Advanced Custom Fields’ flexible layouts, allowing us to build adaptable content structures. This approach enabled each sector to modify and customize their respective sections of the website, tailoring the content to suit their individual needs. Furthermore, we implemented functionality that automatically set the appropriate theme based on the selected sector.

Throughout the project, I gained invaluable insights into clean, reusable code practices, optimizing the website’s performance and maintainability. The experience of building a large, scalable website for Aptar provided me with valuable knowledge and expertise in creating dynamic and user-friendly platforms. Working on this project was a valuable learning opportunity, enriching my skills in web development and equipping me to tackle similar ambitious endeavors in the future.
